Infrared Photographs

Infrared photography is a technique that allows us to photograph in a light spectrum that is not visible to human vision, approximately the range between 700 and 1,200 nanometers (nm). From a slightly more abstract angle, we can define infrared photography as a great and surprising opportunity to explore the world of the invisible. It will be possible for us to see tones, textures and colors in a format in which our eyes are not designed for it, which makes it a very interesting technique in the world of photography and for artists with imagination.

HDR photos

High dynamic range (HDR) digital photography represents a breakthrough in the world of imaging and opens new paths for companies and also for digital content creators. By means of this technique we will be able to capture images similar to what the human being is capable of distinguishing in any scenario, no matter how different the prevailing light conditions are.

The realism achieved with HDR photographs was unimaginable until a few years ago, and with it, artists can unleash their imagination full of small details.

About me

My enthusiasm and passion for photography were already present when, when I was only ten years old (in 1963), I asked the “Three Kings” for a toy-type image projector from Nic, the Three Kings brought it to me and I really enjoyed it.

Without discarding my self-taught facet, many years later I studied Professional Photography for a year at the Image Teaching Center (CEI) in Barcelona.obtaining the accredited diploma. Although I never had Photography as my main professional activity, it was as a secondary form, participating in competitions (with some prize or another) and in social reporting in FORESA (Photographers Reunited, SA) where I did receive some money for my work, all this within the context of chemical and analog photography.

With the arrival of digital photography, I discovered the immense possibilities of the High Dynamic Range (HDR) technique to create images with great impact and realism even in the smallest details. For some years I have been perfecting this technique creating and refining some resources and tricks of my own for its final realization. All this experience without leaving anything in the inkwell has been reflected in my book already published with the title “ALL THE SECRETS OF HDR PHOTOGRAPHY” so that interested photographers master the technique perfectly and without large outlays in a really short time, only in a few days. The publisher is Marcombo, from Barcelona. And, in the next two or three weeks my new book will be published with the title: “INFRARED PHOTOGRAPHY, FUNDAMENTALS AND SECRETS” also from the Marcombo publishing house.

On the other hand, I am also pleased to tell those of you who are just starting out in the world of digital photography that this author and the Marcombo publishing house will publish a book in early 2023 entitled "DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY MANUAL" of rabid news that is aimed at all those photographers who do not like the photos provided by their mobile and want much higher quality results. With this last expression I am not rejecting the photographs of mobile phones because, above all, we can capture unique moments with them since we do not always carry our camera with us, in addition, one of the chapters of this book is dedicated to handling the mobile.

My last experimentation and improvement work in the last four years has been the technique (within the field of Photography) of Digital Infrared Photography.

This aspect of infrared photography and its results is an exciting world because, in addition to working at wavelengths invisible to humans, the images that are obtained are spectacular and very creative, especially in vegetation and also in the heavens If you want to experience something new and extraordinary, then read the book and practice. Of course you can already count on my advice online.

my photography books

In 2018 my first book was published in which the entire High Dynamic Range photography processing technique is developed in its 110 pages. The publisher is Marcombo and the title of the book "All the secrets of HDR photography".

In the next few days the same publishing house will publish my second book, this time the technique that we will learn in its 200 pages will be Infrared Photography .

And, at the beginning of 2023 my third book will go on sale, this time it is aimed at all amateur photographers who, with their mobile phones, cannot capture the images they would have liked to be.

My other project under construction: Ultraviolet Photography

This project is in its beginnings but, with a little more time we will see images that only some species of animals have the possibility of enjoying.

Next plan: Infrared Video with musical audio

Infrared Video? Well, yes, it is possible and viable and, furthermore, if it is accompanied by a suitable musical theme, it will be tremendously original, like from another world.
